What to Expect:
🌱 Welcome to the Farm-ily: Hear more about Little Wild Things’ operation and how we maximize our space in the city to bring you the freshest greens year round!
🌱 Introduction to Microgreens: What makes a microgreen a microgreen? Learn about the growth cycle of microgreens and their extensive health benefits!
🌱 Microgreens Tasting: Try out several varieties of our microgreens and get inspiration for culinary applications! We’ll talk about each green’s nutritional content and share recipe ideas to help level up your next meal.
🌱 Hands-On Planting: Roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty! Based on the tasting, you’ll choose which green you’d like to grow yourself. We’ll provide you with seeds, a growing medium and container, and a step by step guide on how to plant your greens. During this segment one of our expert farmers will lead you through spreading soil and planting seeds at the optimal density.
🌱 Care and Maintenance Guidance: Following the planting, we’ll give you tips for ensuring your microgreens thrive! We’ll cover watering, lighting, and when it’s time to harvest! You’ll also receive a visual guide which outlines each growth stage of your plants.
🌱 Take Home Farm Goods: Each participant will leave with a goodie bag including another grow kit with step-by-step instructions and more!

Our produce is available for curbside pick-up at the farm daily from 10am-4pm. The farm is located at 906 Bladensburg Rd. NE, Washington, DC 20002.
Pick-up at Dupont Circle Farmer’s Market
Available every Sunday 8:30am-1:30pm. Note you must proceed through the market even if you are only picking up your order. Please order by Wednesday 3pm for Sunday pickup the same week.

We offer no-contact delivery directly to your home every Friday in Washington, D.C. ($20 minimum, free with $50 purchase order online by Wednesday 3pm).
