Wild Foraged Chanterelle Mushrooms from Arcadia Venture
The Chanterelle will add depth to a soup or sauce, are the star of a simple pasta dish when sauteed with an aromatic herb like thyme, tarragon, chervil microgreens, or parsley microgreens; they’re amazing in risotto or soft scrambled eggs, and frittatas, or simply sauteed and served over toasted bread. While mushrooms like the morel or portobello are hearty enough for a firm red wine, the chanterelle is lighter and likes to be enjoyed with a light white wine.
Comes in 4 oz portions (generous for 2 people), will come in a brown paper bag, and will be most delicious if eaten as soon as possible, but can be dried on paper towels near a fan and will keep in a sealed container of freezer for months.
