Wild Mint, Elderflower, and Basil Microgreen Vinegar from Lindera Farms
We’re thrilled to be partnering with Lindera Farms again to bring you an incredible vinegar made from wild mint, elderflower, and our very own basil microgreens. Lindera Farms is a local maker of sustainably-sourced vinegars (and other delicious products) and they are also a fellow vendor at the Dupont Circle Farmers Market! Use this vinegar on any of your greens, for seasoning, cocktails, and shrubs.
At Lindera Farms, Daniel Liberson takes ingredients he forages from his family’s 225 acre nature reserve in Delaplane, VA and brews them into incredible artisanal pantry goods like vinegars, hot sauces, soy sauces and more.
Lindera Farms takes locally and sustainably sourced agricultural products such as berries, fruits, and roots and combines them with honey or molasses to turn them into an intense, flavorful wine. That wine is then slowly fermented into vinegar. The process requires a great deal of labor and time, but the final product is both unique and incredible. Be sure to check out their recipes page for more ideas on what to create or follow them @linderafarms on Instagram, FB and Twitter.
